Pharmaceutical Guideline is an educational website about pharmaceutical quality, manufacturing and regulations, run from India. This page explains, in plain words, what happens to your information.

If you subscribe to new articles

  • What we collect: your email address. Nothing else, and no name is required.
  • Why: to email you when new articles are published, about once a week.
  • Your permission: after you enter your address, we email you a link to confirm. Until you confirm, we do not add you.
  • Where it is kept: in our own private system on Cloudflare, and in Brevo, the service that sends the emails for us. Both act only on our instructions.
  • How long: until you unsubscribe. After that we keep only a record that you unsubscribed, so that you are never added again by mistake.
  • Unsubscribing: every email has an unsubscribe link. It works immediately, and it is permanent unless you subscribe again yourself.
  • What we never do: we never sell, rent or share your address with anyone else, and we never send advertising emails on behalf of others.

If you subscribed years ago through our previous Wix website, your address came with us. If you had unsubscribed there, you stay unsubscribed here.

The check on the sign-up form

The sign-up form uses Cloudflare Turnstile, a check that tells people apart from automated programs. Cloudflare receives your IP address and basic browser information to make that check. It is used only to stop fake sign-ups.

When you visit the website

  • The site is delivered by Cloudflare, which keeps short-term technical records, including IP addresses, to keep the site available and to block attacks.
  • We do not use website analytics, and we do not build any profile of you.
  • We do not set cookies of our own. Your browser may remember your light or dark appearance choice on your own device; that never leaves your device.

Advertising

This site shows adverts from Google AdSense, which pay for the hosting. Google and its partners may use cookies or similar identifiers to show and measure adverts, and in some countries to show adverts based on your interests.

You can control this yourself:

Your choices

  • Unsubscribe using the link in any email.
  • Ask to see or delete what we hold about you: write to admin@pharmaceuticalguideline.com from the address in question, and we will reply within 30 days.
  • Correct your address by unsubscribing the old one and subscribing the new one.

Children

This site is written for pharmacy students and working professionals. It is not aimed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.

Changes to this page

If what we do changes, we will update this page and change the date at the top.
